Dwg or PDF which is best for importing
-
dwg is cool because can click to lines but have to organise the layers.
pdf cant click to line so not so accurate but no layer issues.
is their another middle way?
what seems to be the best / most common for interiors do you think?

Sometimes I explode a pdf in CAD before using. It has to be vector based and you then have to make sure it is in real scale if you then import to SU via dwg.
Or take the dwg and make blocks of each layer and then flatten to one layer if you don't want the layers--before importing to SU. Then you can assign groups to simpler SU layer if needed.

It makes sense to import vector lines if you need to be able to edit them or want to use them to flesh something out to 3D. If layers are a problem for you, clean them up or get rid of them before making the DWG file.
