SketchUp and virtual reality modeling

Had some one ever tried to model in virtual reality? Could that be possible in a future in Sketchup?
Is there any forum group in Sketchucation thinking on that? and looking for best alternatives to do that nowadays?

Try to do that for 8 hours a day for 2 months and see what kind of tendonitis gets developed...
