Obligatory Hoverbike
-
Reworked the instrument cluster and seat. Added rider pedal brackets.
-
Great start.
Two things I believe could be better:- The gauges should be a bit more vertical. The actual position will force the rider to take a longer time to read them. Ideally they will be closer to the eyesight driving position.
- The footrests should be more horizontal, otherwise it will be nearly impossible to climb on and maintain the feet onto them.
Going quite nice otherwise !
And perhaps a bigger "engine" in the back ? That would be the one holding more mass whilst the front ones are used to support some of the mass and steer. But hey, it's your imagination, go wild, I like it !

Defo miving on mate, sleek.
-
Thanks guys.
This is still a long way from finished.
-
Still roughing in the details and playing around with the tail.
-
Working on tightening up and unifying the tail.
-
Ah, that's better.
-
Updates. Added landing skids and detailed grav pods, front scoops and minor tweak to rear end.
-
Almost 2 hours of detailing lost because autobak and autosave didn't work right after SU crashed.
-
looking great this far...i can see another "render this" thread coming up
-
Thanks Carloh!
More adjustments and detailing.
-
The detailing I lost last night.
-
Cleaned up under the seat structure using Curviloft and Round Corners. Had to do a little polygon fiddling, but worth it. Cleaned up rear "fender" as well.
-
Pretty cool, Bryan.
Looking forward to seeing the final render.
Have a good week!

Skates are not curvated like snow sky ?

No. Sorry. I don't like that style. Right now, I'm not very happy with the landing pads at all. They are more like "place holders" at the moment.
Still a long way to go. This week I have to remake the front top cowling. So typical of my workflow. If I don't have to remake at least one thing in my model at leave five times, I must be doing it wrong.

Thanks! Threads like these were and still are, the kind that help(ed) me to learn and so I like to create them as well.

Thanks Ken.

Testing seat styles. I think they were too angular. Trying for a more curvy look.
