2014 Pro- license multiple users, same mac
-
It looks like the Mac licensing information is stored per user. How can I setup a lab computer so that all users of a mac (all new users, pulled from AD) have a licensed copy of sketchup pro 2014 when they log in? [we have a multi-seat educational license]. We have account switching turned off, so there will only ever be one user at a time. I haven't yet found where the authentication info is stored. If I can find that, I can script getting that file to the correct location for new users using a login script. Or is there is a way to place the license file centrally (inside the app bundle, or in /Library/ )? Thanks.

You should contact SketchUp's Customer Support directly about this. They should be able to help you out.

I've solved it. If you setup an dummy account, license sketchup, and then copy the ~/Library/Application Support/sketchup folder to the system default user folder, any new account comes up with sketchup licensed.
