2d text to 3d text?

Hello,
Is there a way to convert text that is mad either with the long/lat tool or the dimension tool and making this text visible when you upload your image into Google Earth? Basically I have to take and place product onto a map and then i have to show the measurements from a road so that the owner knows were this product will be placed. But with the tools I am using the measurements don't go over into Google earth. (the reason i bring them into Google earth is to display larger areas and also different locations with our product across the world).
Edit: Would it be possible to change these tools to just display 3d text instead of the 2d text? IDK if this matter but i am running SU8.

There's no way to do it natively and I don't know of any plugins that will do it. Probably the best thing to do is put the text in as 3D to begin with or if you are creating an image from Google Earth, add the text to the image after exporting it from GE.
