Latest build

Where can I check for the latest build of versions. I want to check SU 8 Pro. I don't want to install a new copy if I have the latest (which I assume). I don't see any info at the DL site as to build number. And I don't see indication in the DL package.

The help menu within Sketchup itself has a check for update option, this will tell you if you have the latest version.

Not that I see. But I did have a notice on a later version pop up out the blue. How do I know that is not referring to 2014?

If you are talking about SU8 it's unlikely that there would be a new build since they released 2013.

On the Mac, open SU8 (or any other version for that matter) and click on SketchUp, to the right of File, and click Check Web for Update.
As Box said, there wouldn't be any newer builds of SU8 after SU2013 was released.

I figure I got it. I have SketchUp to the left of File. That's where the update is alright. However it just takes one to DL page for every available version. No info on what build is offered.

The last update fpr version 8 should be M5:
win: 8.0.16846
mac: 8.0.16845

Thanks! I saw that page. Since it didn't say anything about 8 at the top I didn't scroll down...Looks like I am set for 8. Now to go to 2014. Though not sure why.
