      hi all

i need to build this out of ply and i need to define the inner space when i use sheets of 21mm thick, to define the underlying construction.i start with pushing all the faces to a 21mm thickness. all the overlapping bits i need to get rid of. the result should be that the angle between the sheets are halfed: 90° gives two cuts of 45° etc. with shapes following the axes this is easy but in this case, were no angle is the same/following the axes i am getting totally lost. . .

would there be a helpfull plugin? is it just monks work and a matter of patience?

i allready have a plugin that immediately tells me the angle between two faces, it has the poetic name 'angle between faces'

i could do with some tips here. anything is greatly appreciated

model is called Red Snail in the 3dwh.

Have you tried Joint Push/Pull? Correct the face orientation first so all the back faces are inside.n Then you should be able to pull off the faces and make individual components of each of them.
