[Plugin] Calculator for SketchUp v1.0.0
-
What more can I say? It's a calculator...it calculates...
It is more of an experiment on my side on learning javascript but it is kinda funky to use and look at.
Currently it only allows input via the mouse, or touch screen(if you have one) but keyboard input will follow at some point and maybe more calculation methods.
Untested on Mac and SketchUp 13 and less...
-
Note:
You need to be online to use it....
-
Looks good... as always with your plugins! Does it imput results directly into the measurements box? That would be handy...
-
No direct link to SketchUp as yet.
It is just a boring calculator I'm afraid.
-
Doesn't look boring though...
-
There's method to our madness...
Shortcutter spawned ideas, calculator spawned interest in omething else....
The end goal is PluginStore 3.0 which will benefit from all this faffing with code...
-
Beautiful.
-
You started with Sketchucation Plugin Store, that is as to say, an Extended Extension Warehouse, but I wish this "madness" would only stop when you revamped every little browser under Sketchup>Window...
-
I have thought about revamping the Component Browser but sadly my ruby knowledge doesn't stretch that far.
But I am investigating access your local storage of models and doing a better presentation dialog. Timeframe......these dudes decide....

Great job! If you do any more work on it, I would like to see the feature already suggested of sending the result into SU measurement input field. Additionally, I'd really appreciate:
2) Non-modal (can switch back-and-forth) without forcing close);
3) Re-sizable (can reduce size without cropping);
4) Copy results
5) History of last {3 to 9} calculations.However, if you do no more, you can rest on your laurels IMhO.
