Lingering questions about SU-2014 and the warehouse

I've just attempted to post a private file to the 3Dwarehouse, download my posting, make an edit, and see what the warehouse would do, and to my dismay instead of updating and over-writing my existing file the warehouse is treating my update as a seperate submission and placing it next to my original already in my private folder.
Perhaps it is because I am using my browser to post the uploads instead of directly from within SU-2014..Speaking of which I cannot seem to log into the Warehouse from directly within SU2014, and am presented with what appears to be a blank window with only the navigation buttons in the top frame.. Waiting does nothing as up-to several minutes have passed and still the window within SU14 remains blank... Therefore the only way I can post anything to the warehouse is via a browser like Firefox..
If this goes on, how am I supposed to make an edit to an older "Public" model and not loose any "bread crumbs" such as whatever collection the model was a part of if I cannot directly access the warehouse within SU14??
It seems as if almost an entire month has gone by whereby the ability to share models directly from within SU14 has been bugged with that blank window.. Has anyone else noticed this?
I'm beginning to loose confidence with the warehouse...
Anyone have any suggestions? I'm all ears! XD

Is it possible you have some security setting for the default browser that could be affecting whether or not you can log in. Since you haven't completed your profile we have no idea what OS and thus what the browser is. (IE or Safari) Most people can log in to the warehouse via SketchUp so I doubt it is a warehouse issue. What version is the browser? If you don't use that browser normally, it may be out of date. Maybe you need to check for updates.

Come to think about it, I'm not entirely sure about my secruity situation. My anti-virus updated not too long ago, and it was a major update. There's a possibility firewall settings for SU might have changed, but it never occured to me to check on that. I may have just had a derp moment, please pardon?
Hmm as far as Browser being used, it's the latest FireFox.
My system is WinXp Pro.. which yes it's outdated as of early this month but at the moment, funds are limited to getting a new machine is out of the question for the near term future.If indeed something had derpped within my security suit, I'll make changes and see what happens.
Might turn out to be as simple as letting SU communicate with the net.. Could have sworn however that it was allowed to.
If I can use the warehouse from within SU14 again, I'll come back and mark this case file as resolved, if not I'll keep this up and ask for more advice.

Okay well I've just checked firewall settings and they are fine, no security issues whatsoever, however I still end up with a blank window for the 3Dwarehouse, which oddly...
The Extensions Warehouse loads perfectly fine for me.
Any ideas as to what is going on, is it anything that I can change on my user end that wouldn't require a re-download of SU14, program uninstall, re-install, and all that hassle?
