Crazy error message
-
I am getting this crazy error message when I start up sketchup 2014. It seemed to come about when I was trying to load extensions and plugins from 2013. Also, I can not seem to be able to save my toolbar once I get it where I want it. When I open a new file, it defaults back to standard settings. I have tried to uninstall and re install the program, but this message just keeps coming along. Almost like it is not doing a clean un and re install.

Jerry,
You should not be loading plugins from your SU2013 Plugins folder into the SU2014 Plugins folder. You should download and install fresh copies. SU2014 uses a newer version of Ruby, so many plugins have required updating. The error messages indicate that there's problems with the plugins, not SketchUp. Delete all the plugins from the folder and install current copies of the plugins.

Thanks Dave. I didn't think that I did, but I will follow suggestion. So, the new sketchup plugins folder should be empty?

Will that also take care of not being able to save my toolbar settings?

Not quite empty. There are some plugins whose names start with "su" that should be in there. They are packed with SketchUp. If you delete the folder altogether or empty it, SketchUp will repopulate it with those plugins the next time it starts. Bear in mind, this Plugins folder is the one under User/AppData... that's the only Plugins folder you should be messing with. If you let the Sketchucation Plugin Store and Extension Warehouse handle installing plugins, you shouldn't really have any need to go to that folder directly.
