Strange Section Cut Profile Behavior
-
Hi Guys,
I'm having an issue with section cuts producing oddly dashed (yeah, dashed) lines both in viewport and exports working with a particular landscape, and I can't figure out why. I'll let the model upload to dropbox or the like, but here's an image in the mean time.
EDIT: I'm using 2013, and the active style is a slightly modified version of the default Arch template, with everything but lines turned off, and white/red front/rear faces respectively.
Any thoughts?

Have you tried with a different style?
-
Yes, unfortunately no difference

It looks to me as if you're using a line style that has a Halo setting and perhaps a relatively low Level of Detail setting.
-
You might what to check if it is related to this section cut shadow bug.

The Halo setting is only available in Sketchy Styles isn't it? I'm using a modified version of the default style with essentially everything but lines turned off.
Also, using v2013. Still stumped.

Yes. You're right. I couldn't tell what your style settings are from just the image you posted.

Sorry Dave, I didn't exactly post as much info as I should have I'll go back and edit.

No worries.
What happens if you change the Section Cut edge weight? Does orbiting change the view at all?

Orbiting has no effect, and oddly enough, changing the line weight only changes the dashes lineweight, ie the missing bits are still missing.

Weird.

does it change with show/hide hidden detail?
