Does anyone have an idea why when I export a model scene as a pdf then open in illustrator, the lines come in with one line being many. Meaning it like there are lines stacked on one another

Is export 2d graphic as PDF the best way to go from skecthup to illustrator?

        Hi,

the export as PDF provides the best qualitative result. see Example

the export to pdf is bringing the contours into AI as not lines. the contour lines are thousands of segments
