if you downloaded the demo version, it will only be a demo. If you can't download a commercial or edu version from our site, and you have a paid license (and dongle) for 2.0, you need to contact support@chaosgroup.com to have your account permissions fixed. The demo does not convert to a commercial or edu version when a dongle is present.

The download page is quite confusing and should be re-organized.

Some questions I hope someone can answer for me -

The download page only lists 32bit systems - why is that?

What is the difference between these two categories - V-Ray 2.0 Adv for SketchUp and V-Ray for SketchUp?
The first one lists builds up to Mar 4, the second one is Mar 19. Which one should I download?

Thanks in advance for any clarity you can provide.

did everyone find the proper download? If not, please contact support@chaosgroup.com. Don't use the demo if you paid for the product. We just need to correct your download permissions if it's not showing up for you!

Thank you Devin, I contacted Chaos group, and my download fixed.
Am up and running again with the update.

And Batch Render is awesome, at least I can catch some sleep now, while my computer
                works away.

                Thanks for your support.

Frankly Speaking this is the worst download page setup I have seen for a professional software vendor in a long while.

I went through this page and the many links leading to it trying to reach the SP1 source file but all my time wasted in vain.

Because Sketchup is only 32bit and Vray runs within Sketchup. There is a way to render using DR Spawner to use 64bit but I've never personally tried it.

are you getting any channels saved? Works fine for me. Are you using the current (second) service release?

I've been using these features for years and never had a problem. What version are you on? 2.0? Anything prior to SP1 on 2.0 did not create the mat ids automatically. You have to go into the material and assign a color.

                            Hello I use vray 2.00.02.
I can't use VFB channels. I Follow the instructions: select ID COLOR /red for exemple) to material, in the option I select channel MATERIAL ID and in the CUSTOM CHANNEL i ADD CHANNEL. When starts rendering I see the channel of my material specific but it is all black. Why this?
                            Thanks

2.00.02 is not a version number. Should be something like 2.00.25774. You can find the specific build number when you go in Sketchup to Window --> Preferences and look at Extensions list and find vray for SU.
