Hi,
I've not used my sketch up pro 8 for a while and went to use it but it's now crashing on the startup screen. I have tried to remove the plugin folder and reinstall the whole thing but it still crashes. can anyone help? -

- de-install SketchUp,
- reboot windows,
- run ccleaner or glary utilities to clean up your registry,
- install SketchUp,
- start sketchup,
- download your plugins via the Sketchucation Plugin store (latest versions of your plugins, installed at the right place etc).

I had this same problem a while ago after reinstalling SU8 Pro. It turned out that there were empty folders left over from the previous uninstall. I had to make sure all old folders relating to SU in the 'Programs' folder were deleted and then did a fresh install. Then it worked. Don't know why because the old folders were empty.

Im more confused.
Ive tried the steps above and even tried to download the latest demo but im getting the same results with it crashing on the welcome to sketchup screen and saying the application has stopped working.
Very weird and annoying.

you did try this one as well?
