Stair copying steps

Hi,
I have a simple stair with 1 metal step , which I need to use in different heights along the drawing.
I need to copy the steps each 25cm when scaling the stairs. Only I have no clue how to create the formulas for this.
Hopefully somebody can help me here.Probably when I see how it's setup, I can trace back how the formulas work to use in future (other) scaling objects.
