Hi, I have to make an architectural rendering of a building filling a gap between two existing buildings.
I made a pgotograph of the situation. In Vue and Strata3D I could use this photo as a background, enabling me to move the model ( and camera) in such a way that it corresponds with the perspective of the photograph.
Is this possible in SketchUp 8 or is there a trick to get the model fit for using it in the photograph?

      Thanks in advance,

      Rob

If you see a toilet in your dreams do not use it.

          Thanks Solo,

I also found some other video's with "Compositing a model with Photo Match".
It turned out, that the possibility of hiding the pgotograph has disappeared in SketchUp 8, so I had to save the file as version 6 and go on working on it in this older version, which worked fine.
          Thanks for your help,

          Rob

What do you mean by the possibility of hiding the photograph has disappeared. You can certainly do that. Just go to the Edit tab of Styles and click on the blue cube icon. Modify the style to hide what you need to hide.
