Curved semi circular ramp down help
-
Hey guys. New to the forum and a casual user of sketchup (ever since uni). I think this is meant to be in the Resources section of the forum but it was locked so here seemed like the next best place.
I am designing an airport in sketchup and part of it is the increasingly complicated baggage handling system. Anything that is flat or straight ramped I can handle fine using the extrude tool but it all goes haywire when I come to do a curved ramp. I thought I would be able to link the two sections using an arc that is sloping rather than flat then extruding the cross section of the conveyor belt along it but when it gets down the bottom of the arc where it would straighten out, it is at an angle of roughly 30 degrees which is obviously not going to meet the flat belt, plus there may be some lost luggage in the airport, which is not acceptable
I tried rotating the face but that failed horribly.Any help you have on this issue would be very much appreciated as it's holding me back getting on with the rest of the design.
Cheers
Jamie

Thanks guys. The curvishear looks awesome and promising. I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
