I really don't know what's happening, no matter what I try my shadow panel is not being triggered. I'm running Sketch-up 13.0.4811 on Windows 7 64 bit. Shadows work fine, but I just cant trigger the setting panels. Tried reinstalling it but no hope. I might be missing a dll or something (maybe).

Is there a plugin perhaps that gives access to the dark light settings?

Edit: I accidentally posted this in the layout section. Forgive me I haven't slept all night.

Do you use multiple monitors, if so it may be appearing off screen. You can try Window/Preferences/Workspace reset workspace, sometimes this will bring it back, or if you have changed the screen settings recently you may need to go hunting for it by moving your screens around.
I believe tig also has a registry setting that will reset it.

My computer had a a reinstall of windows recently, it always used the same screen (never used a 2nd screen). I did try to reset the workspace however it didn't bring it back. (The box in the menu isn't even getting checked when I click on it)

On my machine the shadow selection is different if I select it form the view menu vs the window shadow selection. When I have the ruby script examples extension de-selected in widow preferences/ extension it will not show if I select from the view menu but will from the window menu. Maybe worth a try??
The dark / light setting show in the windows menu drop down

I reinstalled sketchup, redownloaded it with with my antivirus deactivated and installed it ; everything works fine.

Every time I installed with the previous installer; the shadow panel settings never appeared.
