      Hi,

Since I am running OSX 10.6 I can not use SU 2013. Does anyone know if and where is still possible to buy a license for SU 8?

On Trimble website I could buy the license for the SU 2013 but I am almost sure that I can not use it for the SU 8... Any help?

      Thank you!

What makes you think it won't run on OSX 10.6

If it is the case then you can get it from here I think.

It does say on the SketchUp site that system requirements for SU2013 on Mac is OSX 10.7+ and 10.8+. That said, it might be worth a try with the trial version.

You are correct that a license for SU2013 won't work on SU8 and the reverse is true as well.

SU 2013 on my OSX 10.6 doesn´t work.

Sad that I have a SU 8 that works fine, but I cannot have the Pro version because I can not buy the license anymore.

I think that it is not a very smart decision made by Trimble.

            See you SU.

Part of the deal when you buy the pro version is that you get technical support from them. Like most other software companies, they discontinue support for older versions when the new version is released. This is not a new thing or unique to Trimble.

mmh I wound´t mind to don´t have technical support... and sorry Dave R » but I can still buy old version of Adobes´s program for example.

But to me it is very strange that I can not obtain an old Pro version because the new one is out there.

                And it´s not only me:

So all the OSX 10.6- users are out of business.

                C'est la vie

You could upgrade your OS. I did it on my MacBook Pro. from 10.6 to 10.8. It's no big deal and not expensive.
