HI when I place my 3D text on my drawing it shows up upside down.
To be specific imagine a clear business card. while reading it right side up pick it up and flip toward you then put it down upside down.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
      I've rebooted etc.

also, when I use regular text, place it on my document and move the document the text stays in the pasted spot and does not move with my documents
      thanks for your ideas
      eric

i think your model is upside-down.

the solid part of the blue Z axis should be pointing up.. the dotted portion of the blue axis is below the ground plane.

for the second question, you have to use the text tool then click on a part of the model/geometry in order to tell it to make a leader line (it needs to attach to something).. your text will now move with the model (and you can hide that leader in it's entity info dropdown if you'd like.. the text will still follow)

                    hey eric,

there are a number of possibilities of what's going on but it's hard to guide you in the proper direction without knowing the exact orientation of your model and text.

you can attach a .skp here which other members can view and help sort out your issues much more quickly..

when you're replying to a post, look beneath the reply window and you'll see an 'upload attachment' tab.. use that so we can see the problem without the need for these pesky words 😉
