Layer selection

greetings sketchucation,

      im having a hardtime hiding groups or components on a layer manager, i was hoping that it can highlight automatically on the layer manager tab, simultaneously as you click on to an specific groups or components,i was wishing it could highlight on the layer  tab so you can uncheck its layer visibility faster,is ther a way we can do that sir, anyone sir

One way without plugins:

• select object
• see layer in Entity Info window
• search layer

yes sir, thank you very much, but i was hoping it could go to its layer name by the time you select the object, without looking into its entity info name, i think it would be a faster selection to hide layer visibility

layer names of components and groups should be highlighted automatically at layers tab by the time we select it to facilitate easier and faster layer hiding, checking and unchecking or showing its visibility .. it only worked in outliner tab but it does'nt in layer tab.. please advice ladies and gentleman, thank you, ,

You can already get that with the Layers toolbar. I find Entity Info works just fine for that since I always have it open where I can see it.

I wish the Entity and Layers panel were one or could be made into one optionally.

They do clip together.

Subject: Layout 2014 Wishes

         Hi, Greetings Sketchucation, . As layout had a very excellent  improvements on drawing documents managing for the users, it was indeed a better and greater tools for us, as an aspiring architect. . and so i would want it to have again an enhancement , again and again.:smile: 1 thing i noticed is the. 

1. Selection inside groups to edit while you zoom in using the zoom drag zooming,which is faster and its "great" than the mouse wheel zooming, it instantly exit the selection when u select and use zooming simultaneously, this does not hapen inside sketchup, how come it does in layout, , its a helpfull and efficient command so i would want layout to have it too.
2. Layers name right click selection, and layers, lines, styles entity in right click selection manner,
   I wish layout could have that, thank you sketchucation,
