Can't get Plugin to work in 2013
-
Hoping someone can help here. I loaded the new maxwell plugin for 2013 in the PI folder, shows up in the plugin menu. All good.
I then loaded in the Fredo6 Lib plugin and rounded corners + another plugin. Those aren't showing up. What am I doing wrong? -
Hard to say exactly with so little information given but I would guess you didn't install the LibFredo6 and/or Round Corners files correctly. How about helping us out? Give us a screen shot showing your Plugins folder contents.

Attaching screenshot though there is nothing on this interface to indicate whether it in fact uploaded.
FYI running on OSX. -
Your screen shot didn't get attached.
There is an indication that you've got the image uploaded.

Here is a .jpg version, let's see if it shows:
Again, looking in preview no upload. Is this site always this unfriendly?

I wasn't trying to be unfriendly. I was trying to help you.
From your screen shot I can see you haven't actually installed LibFredo6 nor Round Corners. You've only dumped the RBZ files in the Plugins folder. Go to Preferences>Extensions and click on Install Extension. then navigate to the Plugins folder and choose the LibFredo6 RBZ file. Click Oepn and complete the installation. Then repeat that for Round Corners. After that you should find Round Corners is installed and you can choose the toolbar from the Tool Palettes list under View.
You should do the same for SKM Tools, too, if you want to be able to use it.

Thanks Dave, that worked. A bit kluggie for an installation procedure. Somewhere I guess its documented but I didn't come across it.
By the way, I wasn't referring to you as unfriendly, I was referring to the forum format.

You could install the Sketchucation Plugin Store and use it to search for and install plugins automatically. There's also the Extension Warehouse for more plugins. The Install Extension option was created to make it easier to install plugins that are downloaded and it certainly reduced the number of problems with users incorrectly installing plugins. I guess if you had experience from before the Install Extension button you wouldn't see it as "kluggie".

Good suggestion, this will help.
