      What a pity ...

Thank you for the hint with Blender. Seems not easy to handle. If I import a collada file all my textures are gone? Also I added a easy animation and exported it as a collada file but the animation seems not to be included. I guess it is more complicated!?

      Thanks!

Convert to fbx using "autodesks fbx converter" then import to blender, or use the .obj exporter plugin, your textures will import into blender that way

it works! But when I export the file again as collada again the textures are gone!?

            Okay,

exporting as obj includes the textures but not the animation. Is there a step missing?

It will not export the animation, the animation in sketchup only works in sketchup, you will need to re-animate outside sketchup, I was just giving you an alternative to getting ur model with texture into other 3D applications

                Hmm,

probably I did not make my intention clear. What I want is to create a model in Google Sketchup. I want this model for use in my flightsim which already works very fine (after converting to a bgl file). What I now want is to add a animation to this model (a windmill e.g.).

                So I thought that I can ...

                • export my model from Sketchup (as collada or wavefront file)
                • import to Blender
                • add a animation with blender
                • export from Blender as collada or wavefront file (including the animation)
                • convert to9 flightsim file (bgl)

                no way?

                    But which way?

My described way doesn´t work. After exporting (collada or wavefront) the animation is missing. I only was able to export the animation as a video file.

Oh you want the animation out of SU and into Blender? Ummm no. just the modeling... Maybe talk to the sketchyphysics guy and see if he has export yet, or check that thread. I don't know of export of animation for SU.

I thought you meant doing the animation in blender.

No you misunderstood. I think it is due to my bad english 😕

To say it in short terms ...

I want do the animation in blender and there after I want to safe it (export) as an collada or wavefront file. That´s all.
