No you misunderstood. I think it is due to my bad english
To say it in short terms ...
I want do the animation in blender and there after I want to safe it (export) as an collada or wavefront file. That´s all.

I want do the animation in blender and there after I want to safe it (export) as an collada or wavefront file. That´s all.
But which way?
My described way doesn´t work. After exporting (collada or wavefront) the animation is missing. I only was able to export the animation as a video file.
Hmm,
probably I did not make my intention clear. What I want is to create a model in Google Sketchup. I want this model for use in my flightsim which already works very fine (after converting to a bgl file). What I now want is to add a animation to this model (a windmill e.g.).
So I thought that I can ...
no way?
Okay,
exporting as obj includes the textures but not the animation. Is there a step missing?
Thank you,
it works! But when I export the file again as collada again the textures are gone!?
What a pity ...
Thank you for the hint with Blender. Seems not easy to handle. If I import a collada file all my textures are gone? Also I added a easy animation and exported it as a collada file but the animation seems not to be included. I guess it is more complicated!?
Thanks!
Hi,
I use sketchup for modeling sceneries for a fliegt simulator (Microsoft Flight Simulator X). Now I came across the sketchyphysics plugin which can animate an object. Now my question. Is there a possibility to export my object + animation as collada file or something similar which can be used for the flightsim?
Thank you,
Holger
