Halo

I am creating some new Styles and cannot seem to find one of the settings as shown in an author's book. Please see attachment for visual.
There is also something about Watermarks that I don't understand.

Halo is only available for sketchy line styles. You can make those with Style Builder.
What is it about watermarks that you don't understand? What does the book tell you about watermarks?
-
At this point in the book not much has been said of watermarks aside from enabling and disabling them. But the author is asking his readers to create a template to be used when modelling. Part of this involves editing various settings. What I don't understand is why the need to create a watermarker underlay and overlay. Do I need to create some picture that can be used as a watermarker?
The author makes no reference to using Style Builder in creating Sketchy Lines. Does Halo only appear in Style Builder?
-
Have you even tried to create a watermark? Why don't you try it and see what happens? Have you looked at what the help files have to say? Why not?

You've already seen the Halo setting when you selected a style with a sketchy line. It is a setting option in Style Builder but it can be modified directly in SketchUp. It doesn't matter that the author of your book hasn't mentioned it, Style Builder is needed if you expect to make your own sketchy line styles. If you've had even the most rudimentary look around at styles, you'll have found there are already some sketchy styles packed with SketchUp.
