How to copy a model from SU 2013 to layout by hotkeys

hi,
wondering, why can´t use hotkey Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to copy a new model from SU 2013
to a new opened layout blank page.
eg. i make a model and make 2 pages in layout, and like to add a third one with some
new changes.
open a blank new page in layout, change my model in SU, and finally i want to place it to
my blank layout page. i use my hotkey, but when i copy to layout, the frame is empty
without model , even with a different style.
it works like a charm with previous SU 8 , but i can´t find out how to fix it in SU 2013.
i´d be very grateful for a tips to make it right.

Check to see if you have installed Maintenance Release 1. Use Check for Updates under Help.
Did you select the model in sketchUp before hitting Ctrl+C?
