without more explanations, it seems difficult to help...
you could open the ruby console and copy here the error message, if any

or

give a name to the scene BEFORE it is created, so you don't have to rename it...

The problem is with Artisan. So, because I don't use artisan, I put them off.

Hi, not familiar with the plugin you mentioned but you might want to check [Re]Scene which also is capable of renaming all your scenes.
