There we go again: Z-fighting

Hello,
Yes, stuck again with a z-fighting problem. It drives me crazy.
Always the same thing over and over again.
I uploaded an attachment where you guys can experiment with. It's my model in simplified style. So the paths around the house are correct.
And i need them in those component forms because of the amount I work with.
Question: how can I get rid of those annoying double faces, keeping the whole model intact.Hope you guys can help

I only see Z-fighting when I open a component or group for editing. The solution to Z-fighting is dead simple. Don't have two faces occupying the same space. Z-fighting isn't a problem with SketchUp, it's a problem with the way you are modeling and your graphics card trying to decide which face to show. Help it out and you won't have a problem.
And why is Component#2 mostly reversed faces?

Thanks for your quick reply. I know I should've avoid creating multiple faces. But i did it (and I do it accidentally sometimes), and wanted a method to fix it. But if the only method is avoiding it in the first place, then i'll redraw most stuff..Answer on your question is: I created component 1 with pushpull and created 2 with ctrl + pushpull. Don't know why. Still need to learn working disciplined with sketchup

You could fix it if you have to, and sometimes you do. You could run Intersect Faces>With Model to intersect the component and group with the rectangle on the ground and then delete the stuff under the component and group.
If you want any sort of efficiency when you are drawing you should work on consistency in the way you work. The Push/Pull thing is a good example. Staying on top of reversed faces is another. Another thing in your example: why is one of the things a group while the other is a component. They probably ought to both be groups or both components but not one of each.
You need to learn and use good habits as with anything else in life. And the only way to do that is practice. It will come, though.
