Printing problem with SU 2013--Reversed Images
-
Hi all,
I'm new here but have been using SU for a while now...
I recently downloaded version 13.0.3689 and opened some models created in older versions (6 and 8).
The problem i have is that when i print or export to jpeg it prints a mirrored image.
However, when exporting to pdf it comes out ok.Does anyone know what could be causing this?
(I searched for this issue but nothing came up)thanks,

The title of your post is confusing. Are you using SketchUp 8 as your title indicates or SketchUp 2013?
You might check to see if there are updates for the driver for your graphics card.

Yes, sorry about that, it's actually SketchUp 2013.
I was under the impression it was an updated vs 8.On this computer i have no graphics card just the intel chipset the mobo came with.
I have updated the driver for that last week so i doubt i'd finid anything newer.I have ordered a video card and will be installing it soon. I'll see if anything changes.
Thanks for the reply,

No. Wrong assumption on the versions.
I edited the title so it more clearly reflects the problem you're having.
Maybe a new, proper graphics card will help. Please report back after you get it installed.
BTW, Why not edit your profile and update it to show which OS and SketchUp version you are using? It'll be better in the future when you need assistance.

Also, you can try to completely disable hardware acceleration under Preferences > OpenGL settings. SU usually works properly (though slower) without HW acceleration but poor cards (chipsets) and drivers can cause issues.

Installed the video card and it works properly now.
Thanks for the tip Gai but i didn't get a chance to try that before installing the video card.
Thanks again for the replies.
