Material takeoffs/bill of material?

I have an existing model of a shed from which I would like to get material takeoffs (number of 2x4s, 1x12s, etc.) Is this possible in the free version of Sketchup? I am willing to buy the Pro version if required.

There is a cut list plugin that could work for you. It'll work in the free version. If you go to the Pro version you could use the Report Generator, too.

Since there's no punctuation, is that a question or a statement? The plugin I referred to can certainly export a CSV file which can be opened in a spreadsheet application and massaged as needed.
