Extension warehouse issues

Thought I'd start this thread to highlight any EW issues I find as I try install plugins.
So far Thomthom's Cleanup3 does not install for some reason, I have tried three times and get error every time.
-
CLF Greeble, says it has installed but does not appear in plugin menu.
Edit, same thing with component stringer
-
Ugh, never mind, I see one needs to restart SU for them to show up, what a noob I am.
-
=Don't worry that happened to me as well...you are not alone!
-
I know it...haha, SKU team did not make private beta test for new features or jokes...
-
Hi Ilya, 2 of those plugins Pete listed are mine, so I definitely had time to test them before release I even knew that SU would need to be restarted before they would show up in the menu. What I should have done is at least made a note of that on my EW plugin page so it would not confuse users.
Sorry for the confusion Pete!

No, it's all me on this one, I was too busy on projects to test this feature before.

Hi Chris, i understood. I'm sorry that pushing of sku team(i had hard week)...
I'm calm down, reanalyze situation(new extension is same semi-step as closer to adobe creative cloud).

What error do you get?

But what was the error? I find it odd that a restart would be required so I'd like to dig into this.
Btw, did you have an old version installed? Or is it clean fresh SU2013 installation?

It was a clean SU 2013 install, I used EW to install and three times it gave me an error and said I should something about try doing it manually, then I tried later and it worked, so I cannot say, could it have been something to do with the link maybe?

Not sure. I've not seen this. If you see it again, can you take a screenshot so I can see exactly what we're talking about?
Also, what Windows version are you running? User or Admin? UAC on or off?

If I see it I will take a snap next time.
Windows 7 64, user, UAC off

I'm about to switch over....if anyone is a noob around here it would be me and i am most likely to encounter a self inflicted issue when I install something.
You can look forward to plenty of screenshots.....and you can have a laugh at my expense..!!

Anyone else have problem installing CleanUp?
-
Another issue. Due to the new pricing system I miss the yearly fee to our developers, which allows Trimble to set up the extension site with foreign Plugins. Without these Sketchup is a bit useless in commercial work.
Maybe 50% of the upgrade price should be enoughThe new Extensin site is a good idea, but is basicly done by others and just a collection, rather than a new upgrade achievement.
