      It's caturday!

      Sorry...

Is that a triple-wide monitor setup?

Indeed it is. (3) 23" LG HD monitors. Using (2) GTX 470's in Nvidia Surround.

Very nice. I'd post mine, but I've only got a plain black background with 1920x1080 resolution and a mostly stock SU setup.

        The tighty-whitey of desktops.

It's not the size, it's what you do with it that counts!

I use my Dual 570s in SLi on just the one monitor. What I'm REALLY Jonesing for is a good set of Oculus Rift VR glasses when they come out with a retail version.

              But anyway:

I noticed when I added my second card and not much on my third card, then when I sold my third i switched off sli and again noticed the difference. mostly when rotating and opening large files.

believe it or not...I was planning on buying pro as soon as I could...
the increase to 600 and annual upgrades is a deal breaker for me.
                        Back to turbocad I guess

I feel like helping newbs with SU has been such a waste of time.

The raise in price didn't come in @ 8 Pro? I thought it did. But I've been upgrading since 5 and one of those they charged me full price again.

I only know the Euro-prices, but if i remember correctly, the price has been increased 2 times since Trimble bought it (at least the Euro-price)

last year from 319€ to 332,80€

                            and now to 398€ + 77€/year = 475€

                            ...+48,9%!!!

and if you compare it with the previous update cycle of maybe two years it is even
77€ more = 552€ which is 73% more than before!!!
