Having trouble installing Plugins

Hi, my first post so please be gentle.

I have downloaded Fredo6's plugins, carefully read the instructions to ensure that they are in the right folders.

C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins\FREDOTOOLS_Dir_12\LIBFREDO6_Dir_49\ROUNDCORNER_Dir_23

When I open Sketchup8 I don't see these plugins, they are not shown in the toolbar, from the menu?????

I have searched the forums and Google and can"t see where I have gone wrong.

If you have Sketchup 8 go to Window/Preferences/Extensions and check the plugins there .

From this it doesn't look like you installed Round Corners correctly. It shouldn't be in the folder called LIBFREDO6_Dir_49. Go back and reread the RoundCorner thread. Fredo clearly spells out the correct footprint for the installation.

Even better would be to delete all of Fredo's plugins from your Plugins directory and use the Sketchucation Pluginstore to auto install them. It'll put the files in the correct locations.

Best would be to install this plugin first (it's distributed as an rbz file so you can install it from Preferences > Extensions). Then everything is at your hand and you will never need to leave SU in order to find and install a plugin from SketchUcation.
