      Hi everybody,
As part of the measures to reduce the polygon count of our sketchup models,i will like to know that:Supposing I have created a cylinder or any tube-like shape into a component for my model,
Is there a way to reduce the polygon count of that component, without necessarily drawing it again.
Assuming I used 24 sides for the cross-sectional area of the component,Is there a way of automatically reducing that cross-sectional area to say 12 or 8 sides so that I wouldn't have to draw it over again
      Thanks

No. You can edit the segments of a circle, but not the cylinder. If you look at entity info of a circle you can change the segments but not when it's been extruded.

Artisan plugin has a tool called "reduce polygons" where you can set the % of reduction. But it won't give you the results you desire on a normal cylinder, works better for a quad/tri mesh as does everything subdivision related.
