Hey, anyone know what went wrong here? See attached image. I have used Irender and match photo in the past to create "virtual staging" where I match a photo of an empty room then add furniture and accessories.. I started a new project and did a test render with Vray (which i have not used for this application yet) and got this funny distortion of the window... any ideas why?

That's pretty weird. Did you draw faces and paint the Match Photo image onto it? If so, do you have some triangulation on that face? If you switch to Monochrome face style and turn on Hidden Geometry, are there any hidden lines?

Sometimes simply exploding and regrouping your windows can solve texturing issues when rendered. Might be the case this time.

It looks like it thinks the corner of the building is between the windows.
Is it possible you got the vertical axis wrong in the photomatch.
I guess I mean the vanishing point.

Try making textures, that should result in rectangular textures on each surface vs. skewed textures that other programs may not play well with.
