Is there a script that would have the functionality of placing components by left clicking with mouse? Or is this already built in Sketchup in some way?

I have a top view layout (2D) and I would need to place about 600-700 trees in the layout. The trees are just green circles (components) and I would need to place them in specific locations in the layout. This is maybe a stupid question but I just can't remember any easy way to do this quickly.

Have you tried just grabbing the component from the Components window and placing it?

It seems to me someone wrote a plugin that would keep dropping instances of a component as you click. Look in the list of Plugins under Resources at the top of the page.

Thanks for the help! It seems that ReapeatCopy should be able to do exactly what is needed in my case.
