I am a newish sketchup user and have encountered a problem that as my models get bigger the computer slows down and the dreaded 'beachball of death' begins to appear ! Can anyone give me any advice please ?
I am running it on a Macbook Pro.Thanks

Purge your model (model info), disable shadows when modeling, turn to monochrome if you use textures.
What size is your model?

Certainly purge all unused stuff, but if your model is large due to the nature of the model, Chris Fulmer had a great tip regarding using scenes to handle large models. It is a very creative way to deal with this issue.
