      I downloaded the seamless ground covers. When I apply one to a large area in my model the scale of the material is very small creating a repeating pattern. When I try to make the texture fit the area, the scale is monstrously large.

      How do I apply these textures and make them fit a large area, yet not have a repeating pattern. I thought that was what "seamless" was all about.

        Seamless will always tile unless the pattern is very bland.

        These are mainly for confined areas not space ship launch pads.

        To remove tiling effects you need something like Modo with its Texture Replicator feature. Or unwrap the mesh and post pro the variation.
