Shape bender problem

hi,
shape bender plugin is really great, but somehow i can´t start working
i may do something wrong, so i´d be grateful for any tips or suggestion
to fix it.

Took a few tries and flipping the start/end points of both the reference line and the curve but was finally able to get it to work.
My experience has been that things work better on the XY plane so laying the curve down and standing the component up is usually the best. Also, make everything the same length. Select the curve and get its' length from Enity Info and adjust the reference line and component/group to match.

FWIW, if you look at the instructions for using Shape Bender you'll see that Chris said the curve should be on the red/green plane which yours isn't. The shape should then be oriented in a corresponding method. You'd probably find it works more easily if you actually drew the curve on the ground plane from the beginning.

so when i use shape bender i get the grid after pressing both the straight line and curved line but when i press enter it just moves my object randomly on the screen. It does not bend the object to the path.
