Question from solidworks user.
-
I'm a daily Sketchup user in my work. My brother works in a different industry and uses SolidWorks. He sent me this question regarding a SU file sent to him. I have no answer. Does anyone here?
"Why does a Sketchup file have a 'faces' count that exceeds its 'vertices' count?"
-
This may not always be the case when the model is "clean", compact, and "economical". This could occur when there are internal faces within the model volume. There may also be dual coplanar faces, "hidden" layers and so on in the model as received.
Perhaps post the .skp file, if that is ok to do. If not ok, maybe look for the conditions described above. -
Sample model?
