      Hi,

I am having an issue with scenes.
I set up my scenes for the model and then I have to create another layer for some reason or another. All the scene that were previously set up now have this layer set on. It is as though scenes remember the layers that are switched off not the ones that are switched on at the time of scene creation. I have to go back to each scene switch off the new layer and save the scene again. Is this right? what am I doing wrong! Any help would be appreciated.

      Many thanks

Yeah Bruce, that is the way it is setup to work. When you make a new scene, it is by default turned on in all scenes. The other default would be to turn it off in all scenes - who is to say which is right? Both are perfectly valid potential methods. SO, the dev team decided to have it turned on in all scenes.

Someone made a plugin for this though. I just looked for it and couldn't find it. Anyone remember what its called?

You can set the Layer visibility for all selected Scenes at once using the Scenes dialog.

Use the Ctrl key (on Windows) to select multiple Scenes to update, then hit the Update button, and select just the "Layer Visibility" option.

            Hi
