IMPORT KMZ

Hi all,
I've tried several times to import kmz files, but the import always fails. I just downloaded the latest SU and still no luck. Do I need to get the pro?

Does anyone know if there is a setting or maybe in GE I need to do something? I've noticed in my GIS program, when I check geometry's of kmz files (after I've converted to shape files) there typically are nodes that are not connected, polygons aren't closed. Minor things that can mess up your drawing.

Hey all,
I just wanted to let you know, there is a ruby extenstion that fixes the importing off kmz and kml files. I can't seem to use the search function on the site to find it, but it's there.
