Deleted component still showing up in rendering

Hello all,
It has been a while since I have been stumped but this is an interesting one...
I created the attached model in SU, added a couple of plants from the 3D Warehouse, set up my scenes to batch render over night and then hit render.
Only problem with the finished renderings is one of the plants decided to show up right in the center of my axis, even though I did not place it there and it doesn't even show up when I am working on the model in SU. I even went into Outliner and deleted the plant all together from my model but when I hit render, the thing still shows up.
PLS HELP!

FIXED!
I guess I deleted the plant while batch render was in progress. I just had to stop the rendering process, delete it again, purge unused materials, save and close. When I re-opened the model and did a test render, the plant was gone... hopefully forever.
