I have been working with SkecthUp for a few years now and absolutely love it.

      I recently purchased a new video card ( ATi FirePro V5700 )

However it seems my anti-alising is causing a problem now because none of my lines are straight anymore. They all seem to have a jaggedness to them.

Here is a sample picture before I switched video cards... Nice clean crisp straight lines...

and here is the one now with the new video card....

I have anti-aliasing on 4x in my OpenGL window of preferences.

I have my video card set to App Controlled

I have acceleration and max speed on... turning any of these listed off makes it worse...

      Please help!!!

Does it look the same when you turn AA off?
if so, its a driver issue... try 2x AA or go find a new set of drivers (or if they are the newest, go get the set prior).

had this very thing happen on an ATI card in the office here.

It gets worse when I shut anti-aliasing off to 0x...

its just makes them a bit more jagged.

I have the newest set of drivers loaded. Previously it wouldnt even let select ANY type of AA until i upgraded the drivers for the video card.

I opened them both up in Photoshop (instead of the scaled down version on screen) and looking at a 1:1 crop and even a 4:1 crop, i think your new card looks way better.

so, i actually disagree with you 😠

i think the new card looks better.

Not sure what to tell you 😐
