SU Rendering

With all the plugins etc. to actually render a SU model, why doesn't SU have its own actual rendering program????

In fact it has yet because you can see something on your screen, but it's just a limited one!
It's for a real time works , drawing lines volumes , rotate volumes, rotate screen etc...
For still image you must have a special render "realistic photo" so "plugins" in addition...
and this in general stop the "main program" during the process -
It's never been the point of SketchUp to be complicated by its own photo-realistic rendering tool. There's plenty of alternatives such as the plugins like Podium and LightUp as well as all the rendering programs out there such as Thea, Kerkythea and so on. You have plenty of choice without making SketchUp more complex.
