      Hi,

I have a fairly large master plan scene with hundreds of trees. I decided to use instances of a small sphere to place in the locations I wanted these trees and used the replace instances feature to replace these with a model of a tree I had in the scene-yet they all come in at about half the size.

When I go back to component tree I am using to replace the spheres and re-place it in the scene it is still as large as it originally was. The only thing I can think of is that the sphere I used for my placement was originally larger than the downsized version I used as place-markers but why would that affect the size of the component tree I am replacing these with?

Can anyone suggest a solution for this issue?

      Thanks!

Very interesting, thanks for the reply. That tool looks handy but I see it warns that 2D objects will not work with it and my trees are such.

On aside I have figured out that the downsizing of the original sphere component is what causes the trees to come in smaller. Obviously that history remains when the component is swapped-FYI for anyone having a similar issue.

If you scaled down your placeholder components after they were made, this scale factor will apply to the reloaded components.
