DoorMaker plugin seeking adoption

DoorMaker is a valuable plugin, used by many of us here. because of that we have been bugging its author, Paul Russam, about tweaks and changes to suit specific needs.
in reply to those pleads Paul has declared he no longer feels confident about programming and declares he would be happy if anyone took over from him and developed DoorMaker.
so, would any of our great plugin authors take it up? many of us here would be thankful for it.

Awwwww, I feel bad now
When I originally wrote it in 2007 I knew it could be better but it was beyond my programming abilities.
I'm chuffed its still being used and I hope somebody picks it up and gets it working the way you want. -

please do not feel bad. you have done your part and we cannot thank you enough for doing the plugin in the first place. it is just that when people like a plugin they want to push it to do more than it was planned for.
