Intersect this?
-
See attached file:
There is a face and a group with some more faces.
For the love of my sanity I cannot perform an intersection between the two the way I want it:
I want to intersect the root face with the content of the group and have the intersecting lines appear in the group.
(Mind you - I cannot make it intersect manually when I'm inside the group and try "Intersect Faces > With Model")

Hi, ThomThom:
Is this related to that other thread with 2 pages of replies? -
This is in the dev zone so I imagine Thom wants this done via voodoo rather than hodge podge.

Related yes - it was my original problem. But I found that even doing it via the SU UI yielded unpredictable result so I ran a thread in parallel for the UI intersection. Results in that might give clues to this.

Actually, I want it all voodoo hodge podge.

if you move it all to another place it does intersect ¡
Edited : ... less is more

What place would that be?
Note this is a Ruby API question - I'm trying to find out a working code. -
It worked for me after I moved it all to another place in the space, randomly ,
not specifically to any place .
I thought it could give you a clue .
Thanks for answering .
