I am using Layout (SketchUp Pro version 8.0.15157) to produce an architectural drawing set (home remodel & addition).
I have a number of PDF files (window & door mfg online detail drawings) that I have inserted into Layout - all worked fine.

However, after working and saving my Layout file updates I went back to the page with my PDF inserts and noticed that all PDF's have lost clarity.
As a test, I deleted one PDF, cleared the file from "Document Setup Reference page", re-inserted the same PDF file, and it shows up as it should (a clear PDF file).

Does anyone have any idea as to why each PDF file lost pixel quality within Layout?
Thank you in advance for your help.
      Jeff

A render setting in Document SetUp? Keep it set low while working and increase it before exporting the final product.

Try exporting to PDF with the pixelated version. Pretty sure you'll be OK on the output side of things. If not, its a really weird bug. I have had no issues with PDFs exporting properly.
