      Hi,

I've got a DWG that is flat and also "water-tight" ie you can make a surface from it - no non-co-linear vertices.

However whenever I use the drape tool it always does a crap job:

Intersecting faces does not work with selection, usually I just have to end up using surface tools and manually repatching the thick area.

Question is, does anyone know the reason for a Drape Tool fail?

It's probably a "crap job" DWG file causing the problem. There's a reason that the edge you point out looks thick. Most likely it's two lines very close together. It carries around the arc at the end, too. If that shape was drawn correctly with only one edge along there, the line would display with the same thickness all the way around.

Could you post the SKP file showing the problem?
